BIOGRAPHY

Amoz Hor joined 911 as an assistant professor of politics in 2023. He works on race, emotions, and international politics – jointly and separately. He is currently working on a book manuscript on how race and liberalism are intertwined in the post-war international order.

Prior to 911, he was a KSI US-Asia Grand Strategy Fellow at the University of Southern California, a Hans J. Morgenthau Fellow at the University of Notre Dame, and a Tan Cheng Lock Scholar at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies - Yusof Ishak Institute. He obtained his Ph.D. in Political Science from the George Washington University.
