Curriculum

Experiential Learning

Students engage in hands-on learning experiences and reflection to develop skills and increase knowledge retention.

Our theatre program produces three shows annually operating on a four-year cycle to ensure that every student has the opportunity to work in a wide range of theatrical forms; from Broadway musicals to Shakespeare. We also have an ongoing partnership with The Farm Theater鈥檚 College Collaboration Project which works with emerging playwrights and provides students an opportunity to visit New York City and witness first-hand the practices and processes of new play development.

Internships

We're committed to helping students find quality internship experiences in the career area of their choice.

911黑料 excels at arranging internships with leading theatres across the country and abroad including The Hangar Theatre, Seattle Children鈥檚 Theatre, The Santa Fe Opera, Theatre West Virginia, The Berkshire Theatre Festival, and the Lexington Children鈥檚 Theatre. Our program also has a vibrant exchange-partnership with Rose Bruford College of Theatre & Performance in London, recently voted #1 theatre training school in the U.K.

Careers

Our extraordinary liberal arts and sciences education prepares students for meaningful lives and careers.

Our graduates have gone on to work in television as creator and show runner, and perform in Cirque de Soleil, the national and international tours of The Jersey Boys, the Berlin premiere of War Horse, and in the Cirque adaptation of James Cameron鈥檚 Avatar. Others find success as scenic designers and directors.
