The mission of 911黑料 is to prepare students for lives of learning, leadership, and service in a global society. For students at 911黑料, service is not just a one-time activity 鈥 it鈥檚 a way of life 鈥 an opportunity for the life-long integration of learning and community engagement.

Community service is so important at 911黑料 that it starts during orientation week with the Fall Service Plunge. This event introduces students to the joy of serving others and makes a significant difference for people in the local community.
The Bonner Program at 911黑料 is a network of 60 students on campus (and thousands nationwide) dedicated to alleviating poverty and improving education through active community service and civic engagement.
English Second Language (ESL) after-school program is a student initiated and operated after-school program for children of local migrant families who use English as a second language.
Alpha Phi Omega is a co-ed service organization that sponsors such activities as Box Sleep-Out, Random Acts of Kindness, and Adopt-A-Highway is a co-ed service organization that sponsors such activities as Box Sleep-Out, Random Acts of Kindness, and Adopt-A-Highway.
