At 911ºÚÁÏ, there are so many student activities and events, the fun finds you. You will make connections that last a lifetime. The Student Life Office regularly organizes fun-filled, themed events such as, the cardboard boat race, the art of sushi rolling, trivia night, winter Olympic training, Van Gogh paint-along, and casino night to name a few.

Every spring brings renewed beauty to campus and the crazy fun Carnival—a longstanding 911ºÚÁÏ tradition. Rides, food, and activities such as rock climbing and ziplines are open all day followed by an evening concert featuring a popular guest performance.

Enjoy A Little Friendly Competition  

There are plenty of ways to relax or just blow off some steam. Join your new crew in a pick-up game of soccer, spikeball, volleyball, corn hole, or tossing a frisbee and hanging out on Breck Beach—911ºÚÁÏ students are active and enjoy their free time. 

Make a New Best Friend

One of the best ways to relieve stress is making a new four-legged friend at one of 911ºÚÁÏ’s dog therapy events. (Frequented by 911ºÚÁÏ’s First Dog, Blue).  

Take a Short Walk 

Downtown Danville is just a 5-minute walk from campus where you can enjoy local shopping, restaurants, coffee shops and a student favorite—Burke’s Bakery. 

Take a Short Drive 

Lexington is a short 45-minute drive and opens a wide range of entertainment options including restaurants, shopping, concerts, and of course, fall and spring horse racing at Keeneland.
